Meet The Pastors

Tony and Ursula carry the heart of a spiritual Dad and Mum toward churches and leaders. They champion the message of the Heavenly Father’s love, the grace of Jesus Christ, and the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Having previously pastored in West Yorkshire, they relocated to Wolverhampton in 1998 to establish LifeSpring Church and LifeSpring Ministries. With a deep love for people and an unwavering commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom, Tony and Ursula have poured their lives into building a ministry that equips believers, restores hope, and plants thriving churches.

Associate Pastors

Wolverhampton Associate Pastors John and Karla Blackah

John, originally from Leeds, began his journey as a missionary kid in Northern France before his family settled in Paris, where they planted and built a thriving church.

After attending Bethel Church’s School of Ministry in Redding, California, John felt a strong calling to return and serve in the UK.

Karla was born in South Florida to Latin American parents. She came to faith in her early teens and later attended Bethel’s School of Ministry, where her path crossed with John’s. They married in 2015 and soon after felt led to join LifeSpring Ministries in Wolverhampton, UK.

For six years, John & Karla served faithfully in a variety of roles at LifeSpring Wolverhampton, including leading the youth and young adults. In 2022, they were commissioned to lead LifeSpring Church Burntwood.

Today, the church is being led by Gavin & Angilica Mills as part of the wider LifeSpring Apostolic Family.

John & Karla have since returned to serve at LifeSpring Church Wolverhampton as Associate Pastors.

They are passionate about fostering holistic transformation and guiding others on their spiritual journey, in line with LifeSpring’s values of upward, inward, and outward growth in Christ.

Our Mission

At LifeSpring, we are committed to living out and expressing our Christian faith through a transformative journey in three key directions: the Upward Journey, the Inward Journey, and the Outward Journey. Guided by the words of Jesus, “you are the LIGHT of the world” (Matthew 5:14), we seek to embody God’s light in all that we do. Our mission is to be a church that fosters spiritual growth, inward renewal, and outward impact, reflecting God’s love and truth to the world around us.

Our Values

At LifeSpring, we are a FAMILY, not an institution, united in love and commitment through Jesus, who adopted us into God’s family. The Word of God is our authority for belief and practice, as we embrace the truth that Jesus’ words bring life. We believe in Freedom through Christ, experiencing victory, healing, and restoration. Our Purpose is to advance God’s kingdom, and our Devotion is expressed through worship, prayer, and seeking His presence in all things.

Our Beliefs

We believe in one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God’s love, grace, and sovereignty are seen in creation, redemption, and judgment. The Scriptures are divinely inspired and fully trustworthy. We believe in the dignity of all people, the incarnation of Christ, His atoning sacrifice, and bodily resurrection. We are justified by grace through faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and anticipate Christ’s return to establish eternal justice.

This project is designed to enhance our ability to worship, disciple, and serve the community, fostering growth and transformation.
